Calling for Proposals – 2022 Virginia Land Conservation and Greenways Conference
Virginia’s United Land Trusts is pleased to invite you to be a part of the 2022 Virginia Land Conservation and Greenways Conference. This conference will be taking place April 27-29, 2022 at the Hilton Richmond Downtown.
We will be celebrating a return to an in-person event and want to hear about all about the fantastic research, projects, and collaborations that have taken place since our last get-together.
Currently, we are seeking passionate speakers to present under the following four tracks:
-
Trails, Greenways, and Blueways
-
Plants, Trees, Water, and Wildlife
-
Community Partnerships
-
Best practices for Easement Holders (Beginner and advanced sessions)
Regular speaking sessions are 90 minutes, while shorter presentations (45 minutes) can be combined into a longer session. You are also able to present independently or as a team.
Also, if you are currently in the Richmond area and would like to showcase a project, please consider hosting a field trip. Field trips are a terrific way to demonstrate tangible success and are a great break from classroom sessions.
All session and field trip proposals are due Wednesday, December 1, 2021.
