Evergreen Cemetery: Thanks to VOF’s Leadership

Thank you to Brett Glymph and VOF’s leadership on the Evergreen Cemetery & HB1547  

Here are a couple articles about the purchase of Evergreen Cemetery and legislation that Governor McAuliffe signed that will provide money for the maintenance of historic African American graves, monuments, and markers at the East End Cemetery and Evergreen Cemetery.  Other localities can request their cemeteries also be included in receiving funds.   (http://lis.virginia.gov/cgi-bin/legp604.exe?171+sum+HB1547)
