The Trust for Public Land creates parks and protects land for people throughout the nation, ensuring healthy, livable communities for generations to come. We protect places people in Virginia care about, from the Chesapeake Bay to the Blue Ridge Mountains, by acquiring land for public use and enjoyment, and conserving land that sustains rural communities. We help raise funds, conduct research and planning, acquire and protect land, and design parks and trails.
