HVLC Welcomes New Team Member: Leanne Harrow
The Historic Virginia Land Conservancy is pleased to announce that Leanne Harrow will be joining the HVLC team as Land Stewardship and Outreach Coordinator beginning May 21, 2018.
Leanne brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in Virginia agriculture thanks to her career with the VA Department of Agriculture. She worked extensively in county cooperative extension programs, including being the extension agent for James City County (JCC) and New Kent County’s agriculture and natural resources, along with other agricultural and farmland protection programs. A fun fact: Leanne was responsible for the JCC Mainland Farm video– Mainland Farm being our greatest gem in the HVLC easement portfolio! She most recently managed the Virginia Grown marketing program and served as the state coordinator for the Virginia Farm to School program, as well as the state representative for the National Farm to School Network. Her array of managerial and practical experience within the industry—especially with land and landowners–will serve HVLC incredibly well.
