The Virginia Eastern Shore Land Trust seeks to conserve rural lands, which will best preserve the farms, forests, wetlands, waters, and heritage of the Virginia Eastern Shore for the benefit of future generations. Through land conservation and good stewardship, VES Land Trust works with families and individuals to maintain the rural and scenic character of the Eastern Shore, protect and restore the water we drink and waterways for aquaculture and recreation, ensure farmland and forestland is available for production, and preserve wildlife habitat. VES Land Trust also leads nature walks for second graders and hikes and workshops for adults. Founded in 2003, VES Land Trust is accredited.
