Lisa Biever

Lisa Biever, Northern Neck Land Conservancy Executive Director. Lisa has served as Northern Neck Land Conservancy’s Executive Director since 2021. In this role, she is responsible for leading a small but mighty team of staff and volunteers to enact the organization’s mission to preserve the rural character of the Northern Neck and Essex County by conserving their lands, waters, economies and cultures for future generations. Prior to Northern Neck Land Conservancy, Lisa worked for 10 years at the Community Foundation of the Rappahannock River Region, most recently as its Communications Director. Lisa moved to King George County with her husband, Jason Gallant, in 2001. They chose to protect their land with a conservation easement in 2012. They are currently raising goats, homing pigeons, and teenagers.
