Ellen Shepard

Ellen has worked on conservation issues in various capacities including serving as executive director of the Virginia Conservation Network and conservation organizer for the Sierra Club.  From 2009-2016 Ellen served as co-chair of the “Dandelion” Linwood Holton Elementary School’s award winning outdoor classroom project where she worked with hundreds of children, teachers, and community partners.  Ellen is a 2002 graduate of the Virginia Natural Resources Leadership Institute.  Ellen lives in Richmond with her husband Brian and boys Ben and Will.
